BCN Telecom Announces Investment and Management Control Agreement with Powercom

Bedminster, New Jersey, November 2007 - Today BCN Telecom announced it has made a working capital and equity investment in Powercom, a privately-held facilities based telecommunications provider located in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, serving approximately 16,000 business and residential customers. As part of the investment structure, BCN Telecom will provide executive leadership of Powercom under a multi-year management control agreement. Since 1985, Powercom has provided local phone service, long distance and Internet access services spanning 5 Midwestern states with a concentration in Wisconsin and Minnesota. This marks the third strategic transaction for BCN Telecom within the last eighteen months.
